Quote by Rofesoft ("we", "our", "us") is a BigCommerce app. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

1. Data We Collect

When you install Quote by Rofesoft, we collect and store the following data from your BigCommerce store:

• Store Information: Store hash (unique identifier), API access token, store name, and admin email address.
• Quote Requests: When a shopper requests a quote from your storefront, we store the contact details they provide (name, email address and optional company name), any message they write, and the products, variants and quantities they requested. For signed-in customers we also store their customer identifier.
• Quotes: The quotes you create, including line items, prices, notes and expiry dates, along with the resulting order reference once a quote is used to place an order.
• Quote Link Activity: When a quote link is opened we log the time, IP address and browser user agent, so you can see whether your quote was viewed.
• Subscription Data: Payment information is processed by Paddle (our payment provider) — we do not store credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Providing and operating the app's features for your store.
• Delivering quote request notifications to you and quote emails to your shoppers.
• Processing subscription payments through Paddle.
• Communicating with the BigCommerce API on your behalf.

We do not sell your data or your shoppers' data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in our database. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. API tokens are stored securely and used only to communicate with the BigCommerce API on your behalf.

4. Third-Party Services

• Paddle: Processes subscription payments. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.
• BigCommerce: Source of store data via their API.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as the app is installed on your store. When you uninstall Quote by Rofesoft, your store data — including quote requests and quotes — is removed from our systems.

6. Your Rights

You can request data export or deletion at any time by contacting us. Uninstalling the app automatically removes all your store data from our systems.
